We are help to help you and your family navigate those changes. Our care team strives to keep your loved one safe and in the comforts of their own home.
Our staff undergo specialized Alzheimer's and dementia training to assist you and your family through this difficult time. We work to build a care plan specific to the individual. We encourage our clients to be active and participate in various activities to help keep one mind active.
Here are some things our care providers can do with your loved one through out the day.
If a certain task does not appeal one day we can try again, and will also suggest different activates. We encourage the family to be involved in this process, as it is important to reengage in things the client once enjoyed.
As the disease progresses we can assist you or your loved with activities of daily living.
We are also here to assist the family, as caring for someone with dementia can be a challenging and demanding duty. If your need a break, we can offer you that through our respite care service.
If you or your loved one is living with dementia, remember Patience and flexibility coupled with self-care and the support of friends and family can help you deal with the challenges and frustrations ahead. When it all becomes too much to handle, We are here to help as well.
